We had such a wonderful time during our IRL Book Club Meet for Dolly Alderton's Everything I know About Love last August 21, 2023 at Laro Ceramics' Beautiful Pottery Studio!
The book focused a lot on Dolly's struggles as she went through life as a teen to an adult. It was so timely that we had book club members who are from ages 18-30 who each shared how they relate to the book! It was great hearing everyones thoughts and how they could relate to the book, whether it be about friendship, romantic relationships, or their career. This book club session felt like a big life review! 😆
Some points that were shared:
- "The book felt like having a conversation with your best friend while watching their life unfold... what womanhood is all about. Most parts would get you hysterical, and some would have you grab a box of tissues! Such a rollercoaster ride but overall a breath of fresh air. Represents the beauty of femininity." -Julianna O.
