We had a blast at Matcha Mama's Onigiri Party!
At the party, guests were able to express their creativity by customizing their own onigiris with various fillings and toppings. It was such a fun way to socialize and explore some flavors of traditional Japanese cuisine.
Guests shaped their rice balls into traditional triangles and then wrapped them in nori with the classic Japanese onigiri plastic wrap, just like in Japan!
At the heart of the party, we wanted everyone to feel involved and encouraged guests to bond over making onigiri from scratch. It was definitely a great icebreaker for meeting new people or bonding with friends.
By the end of the party, everyone had great time together, tasted a variety of unique onigiri, and, most importantly, made new friends in the process. It’s a celebration of food, fun, and connection! Everyone got to make four different onigiri flavors and take them home!
